Junior’s Department
The long-haired young male browsing alone in the ladies’ junior’s department caught his eye and he stopped walking to the store exit. He stepped behind a display rack across the aisle, then watched him approach a mirror and scan the area before holding the skirt and blouse up against his body.
He hid further as the man hurried to the check-out counter, then jotted a quick note on the back of a business card… I’ll treat you generously if you model those for me. …before walking to the closest exit. He stood by the glass double doors as he kept a discreet eye on the interaction at the register, then smiled and extended the note-filled card as the person approached. “Hi.”
The stranger’s eyes narrowed and head tilted.
“Please read the note on the back?”
The person hesitantly accepted the card, then continued through the glass doors, and he sighed as he walked toward the mall’s interior. His phone indicated a text and his heart jumped as he approached the inside entrance. He swiped his phone open, and read the unrecognized number, then felt his increased breathing as he read the message.
How generous?
He saved the number before keying a reply. PPD credit card for anything else you might need …more clothes …make-up …shoes
And what do I have to do?
Nothing you don’t want. I’m as scared as you.
How do I know you’re not a weirdo?
He stood by the second floor walkway railing and continued typing. You see the other side of the card. Call the company and ask for me.
That doesn’t tell me anything
Go online and look me up
K
In the meantime may I know your first name?
Erica
Hi Erica. It’s nice to meet you.
How did you …you spotted me?
Yes He leaned against the walkway railing and keyed another message. …and I think you’re going to look gorgeous in what you bought.
Are you an admirer?
Yes. Very much.
Do you want me to send you a pic of me dressed?
He felt his heartbeat increase as he typed. Yes. Would you like my pic in return?
Yes.
He chose a casual picture from a family gathering and sent it, then anxiously waited. He inhaled as his phone finally beeped, and smiled at the reply.
